Anhui Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd.
is a state-owned large construction enterprise that
belongs to Anhui provincial government, and one
of super-class qualification enterprises in house
building. It is a newly approved general contractor
by Ministry of Construction. It has acquired the
operating right of foreign project and labor service
contract, granted by Ministry of Foreign Economy
and Trade. The company was established in 1952 and
renamed several times. Before 1983, it was called
Anhui Provincial Construction Engineering Bureau
and exercised governmental administrative functions.
In August 1983, it was renamed as Anhui Provincial
Construction Engineering General Company. In 1996,
it was reformed into Anhui Construction Engineering
Group Company through approval of Anhui Provincial
People¡¯s Government.
The primary functions of the company are building
construction, road and bridge construction, water
and electricity project, building decoration, equipment
installation, metal structural parts, cement products,
windows and doors, construction machinery, real-estate
development, international project contract, supply
and sale of materials, scientific research, design,
education, hotel, restaurant and etc.
