Anhui Provincial Communication Investment Group
Co., Ltd. was formed in the background when the
provincial party commission and government were
implementing the strategy of ¡°large enterprises
and large groups¡± to accelerate the separation of
governments and enterprises in Anhui¡¯s communication
industry. The company was officially founded in
May 28 2001. In accordance with the provincial government¡¯s
spirit to establish groups, former provincial communication
construction investment and development company
was reformed into the parent company by laws and
15 affiliated enterprises were reformed into its
subsidiary companies. Thus mother-daughter company
system was formed with the capital as a link. The
group company performs the investor¡¯s duty for the
subsidiary companies and enjoys assets benefit and
major decision-making right, the right to select
operators and etc. The group company is mainly engaged
in state-owned assets operation, investment and
financing in communication construction. The scope
of the business includes: road estate operation,
logistics, design, construction and supervision
of communication infrastructures, automobile, shipping,
transportation, real-estate development, high-tech
product development and etc.
Since its foundation, the group company has actively
deepened various reforms, energetically implemented
assets reorganization, strengthened enterprise management,
expanded enterprise business and made marked progress
in various jobs. At present, the reform of labor
and employment system and income distribution system
has basically completed. Property right reform is
in full swing; some achievements in assets reorganization
of logistics industry and express passenger transport
industry have been made; assets quality has been
further improved; enterprise management has been
