With the approval of the provincial government,
Anhui Provincial Petrochemical Industry Group Co.,
Ltd., an enterprise group, was organized in the
equity holding or participation form in October
2003. It is composed of the scientific research,
design and trade enterprises of the former provincial
petrochemical industry bureau, and over 20 key fertilizer
enterprises with 30% provincial state-owned assets
of the stock right, with the provincial fertilizer
company as the core and capital as the link. It
is authorized to operate the state-owned assets
and mainly engaged in the business such as scientific
research and development, engineering design, processing
and manufacturing, domestic and international trade,
technical consultation of petrochemical products.
It is powerful in the production and operation of
chemical products such as pesticide, fertilizer
and coal and has a good foundation in import-export
trade and commission.
In the past years, it has won over 80 prizes in
science and technology at the state, ministerial
an provincial level. Many of its research achievements
occupy the leading position at home. It holds A-grade
design qualification in organic chemistry, biochemistry
and bioengineering and B-grade design qualification
in chemical, medical and constructional engineering
and etc. It also has the qualification of I, II
and III-class pressure container and pipe design
issued by the state quality inspection general bureau.
It has relatively large advantages in project supervisory
control, environmental protection design and etc.
