With the approval of Anhui Provincial Economic
and Trade Commission, the former Anhui Provincial
Vinylon Factory was reformed into Anhui Wanwei Group
Co., Ltd. in September 2002. It has 4 holding subsidiary
companies, Anhui Wanwei High-tech Material Joint-stock
Co., Ltd., Anhui Velon Dehexian Co., Ltd., Chaohu
Wanwei Jinquan Industrial Co., Ltd. and Chaohu Wanwei
Zhenhua Industrial Co., Ltd.
Anhui Provincial Vinylon Factory, predecessor of
the Wanwei group, was constructed in October 1969.
It was one of key construction projects in the period
of ¡°the 4th five year plan¡±. Since 1992, Wanwei
group has adhered to the factory management thought
- ¡°manage factories in a scientific method¡±. Deeply
fulfill the operating concept and perception of
the trinity - ¡°scientific thought, scientific management
and technological progress¡± and the operating mode
of ¡°one axes, two wheels¡±. After the innovation
in the period of ¡°the 8th five year plan¡± and reform
and getting list on the stock market in 1997, Wanwei
has been on a road to advance quickly and develop
vigorously.
Wanwei group is a state-owned exclusively funded
enterprise. The registered capital is 178.92 million
yuan. The scope of the business is: the production
and marketing of chemical fibre and textile outside
material, assets operation, freight, and development,
production and marketing of high-tech products.
The scope of the business is across the three industries,
chemical engineering, chemical fibre and building
material. The group¡¯s comprehensive strength ranks
among the same trade in China.
With the approval of Anhui Provincial People¡¯s Government,
Anhui Provincial Vinylon Factory, as an exclusive
initiator, set up Anhui Wanwei High-tech Material
Joint-stock Co., Ltd. in an open fund raising method.
The company¡¯s registered capital is 252.9 million
yuan. Among it, state-owned corporation share is
153.9 million yuan, public share is 99 million yuan.
It is a large joint-stock enterprise of chemical
engineering, chemical fibre and building material.
It belongs to new material industry of chemical
engineering. The scope of the business includes
polyethylene, polyvinyl high-tenacity fibre, polyvinyl
acetate emulsion, vinylacetate, cement, dissolved
acetylene, calcium carbide, oxygen, super high strength
and high membrane PVA short and long fibre, PVA
water soluble fibre manufacture, industrial and
civil building construction, equipment installation,
machinery processing and etc. At present It has
three series products, chemical engineering, chemical
fibre and building material.
