Anhui Xinhua Bookstore Distribution Group is the
largest state-owned book distribution enterprise
in Anhui. Approved by Anhui provincial Party committee,
provincial government and the state news publication
general agency, and based on 83 state-owned distribution
enterprises and the provincial foreign language
bookstore, it was reformed and organized on September
5, 2002.
The distribution group implements the policy to
serve people and society and adheres to the combination
of social benefits and economic benefits with the
fundamental purpose to promote the larger growth
of Anhui publication and distribution industry.
In 2003, the distribution group fulfilled the net
sales income of 2.18627 billion yuan, profit of
80.6111 million yuan. The submitted tax is 102.3912
million yuan. By the end of the year 2003, the total
assets of the distribution company had reached 2.026
billion yuan.
The core of the distribution group is Anhui Xinhua
Bookstore Group Co., Ltd. It is a state-owned exclusively
founded company and a parent company of the distribution
group. It represents the distribution company externally.
The registered capital is 118 million yuan, exclusively
funded by Anhui Provincial People¡¯s Government.
It operates the state-owned net assets ratified
by the provincial financial department after a general
checkup on the fixed assets of all Xinhua bookstores
in Anhui and Anhui foreign language bookstore, and
assumes responsibility for the maintenance and appreciation
of the state-owned assets value while fulfilling
cultural propaganda task. It has 4 specialized subsidiary
companies and 17 subsidiary companies at the municipal
level. Ni Zhimin is secretary of the Party committee,
chairman of the board, and general manager of the
group.
