The No. 3 Construction (Group) Co., Ltd. of China
Coal Industry is a construction enterprise of coal
infrastructure. The most member companies were founded
in 1950¡¯s. In addition, Electromechanical Installation
Engineering Department and Machinery Manufacture
General Factory were founded in 1970¡¯s. ¡°Huaibei
Coal Mine Infrastructure Bureau¡± was founded In
February 1994. It is the predecessor of the group
company. It was renamed ¡°Construction Campaign Headquarters
of Huaibei Coal Mine Base¡± in November 1977, ¡°Huaibei
Coal Mine Construction Headquarters¡± in November
1983, and ¡°Huaibei Coal Mine Construction Company¡±
in February 1985. It has been called ¡°the No. 3
Construction Company of China Coal Industry¡± since
July 1993. The enterprise conducted the corporate
system reform in 2000. The No. 3 Construction (Group)
Co., Ltd. of China Coal Industry was officially
founded in January 1st 2001.
The group is a trans-industry and multi-operation
large enterprise group with mine construction as
its primary business. It also has a comprehensive
construction ability of various other engineering
projects. The group¡¯s main members include 6 full-stock
and holding subsidiary companies.
The group company has acquired the special-grade
qualification of mine engineering construction general
contractor (one of two enterprises with the mine
special-grade qualification in China and one of
three enterprises with the special-grade qualification
in Anhui) and other multiple qualifications in house,
municipal engineering, electrochemical engineering,
road and tunnel. It owns the import-export operating
right. The group¡¯s members had all passed ISO9002
quality system certification by the end of 1999.
The group company will implement the strategy of
¡°be based on Wan(Anhui) Lu(Shandong), advance towards
the west China and go abroad¡± to guarantee the fulfillment
of the plan, ¡°three years, three big steps¡± and
promote the group to broaden the scope of the business,
unremittingly enlarge the market share, build the
enterprise into a large enterprise group that has
a leading business (coal construction and production)
and simultaneously develops other multiple industries.
